Erica Mena is mourning the passing of her former boyfriend Cliff Dixon after the man was shot and killed! Here’s how the Love and Hip Hop: New York star has been dealing with the shocking loss.

On the same day that her ex was shot multiple times in the SL Lounge in Atlanta parking lot at 1 A.M., Mena took to social media to share a heartbreaking message on her Instagram Stories.

Cliff was also known under his rapper pseudonym Lavish and was celebrating his 32nd birthday at the club.

Erica posted a pic of Cliff when he was a child and wrote alongside it: ‘We all deal with so much. You dealt with a lot. I’m so sorry this happened, you didn’t deserve this. Rest in forever peace. Watch over your blood sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and your mommy. I know they’re so broken now.’

The two were together for less than a year but broke up not too long ago – in late 2018.

That being said, there’s no doubt that the death of her ex affected her a lot.

The star continued to mourn him in other posts and asked people to ‘Please love me while I’m still here. Nothing is promise…appreciate life.’
