Tamra Judge Sells Her Orange County Home For More Than $2 Million After RHOC Exit

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge has sold her home in Coto De Caza, California for $2.2 million. The news comes on the heels of Judge’s exit from RHOC after 12 seasons and the recent revelation that her ex-husband Simon Barney is battling throat cancer.

During a recent appearance on Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM Radio, Judge said that she and her husband, Eddie Judge, are in the process of moving out of their six-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home in Orange County.

The 49-year-old explained that she and Eddie bought the property for $2 million in 2018 with the help of real estate agent Shelley Black from Veranda Realty. And, this past January, Black contacted Tamra and Eddie to let them know that she had a buyer for the property that was willing to pay more than $2 million.

“I had so much happen to me in one week,” said the CUT Fitness owner. “Our house wasn’t even on the market! My good friend Shelley Black…she said, ‘Hey, I have somebody who wants to buy your house.’”

Judge said that she immediately took the offer because it was $200,000 more than she had paid for the home less than two years ago. Now, the house is in escrow.

The sale of the home happened around the same time Judge rejected Bravo’s offer for Season 15, which included a demotion to friend status and a massive pay cut. Judge was making nearly $1 million per season as a full-time cast member, but Bravo offered her a three-episode contract for $20,000 per episode.

Judge says she was ready to leave RHOC before Season 14 when she found out about Barney’s cancer diagnosis. But, she decided to film the season instead of making a quick, emotional decision that she would later regret.

Judge says that between Barney’s cancer battle and her husband Eddie’s recent health problems, it was time for her to shift her priorities and stop filming RHOC. Barney is the father of three of Judge’s four children.

Now that Real Housewives of Orange County is behind her, Judge – who has her real estate license – says she is getting into the house flipping business. She told Lewis that after selling her home, people are going to think that she couldn’t afford the house after leaving RHOC, but that’s not the case.

Tamra Judge says her finances are just fine.
